Port Townsend Ferry began as a generic Puget Sound demo, done from memory and imagination during Suzanne Brooker’s painting class at Gage Academy in Seattle.
Suzanne had invited me to her class to help prep her students for a summer of painting en plein air. On a subsequent trip to Port Towsend I saw this scene of the ferry disembarking, and decided to make the generic more specific.
